Donuts Me was created by Labinot, who is fascinated by the empty houses scattered across the American landscape – the Victorian with boarded windows on the edge of town, the farmhouse alone in a field, the bungalow slowly disappearing under vines. Each of these homes was once full of life, and each raises the same questions: what happened here, and what could happen next?
This site exists to answer those questions in a careful, respectful, and practical way.
About the name
"Donuts Me" is the personal brand of the site's creator, Labinot – that's where the playful donut logo comes from. The name is the creator's brand, not the topic: this website is dedicated to abandoned houses in the United States, and that's all we write about here.
